Acceptance from a Bangladeshi Institution

First and foremost, student need to have the offer letter from the university.

Select the Right Visa Type

Different types of student visas in Bangladesh, such as "Student Visa (Class FS)" or "Student Visa for Medical Students (Class FM)."

Complete the Visa Application Form

Obtain the visa application form from the Bangladesh High Commission or Embassy in your home country. You may also find it online on their official website. Gather Required Documents

Typically, you will need the following documents,

• Passport (minimum 6 months validity)
• 45mm x 35mm Digital Photo in JPEG format, Maximum size is 300kb
• Admission letter (offer letter) from the University.
• Proof of sufficient funds to cover tuition fees and living expenses.
• Police clearance certificate or a police report from your home country.
• Health certificate, including a negative COVID-19 test result.
• Visa application fee receipt.

Pay Visa Fee

Pay the required visa application fee. Fees can vary depending on your nationality, so check with the Bangladesh High Commission or Embassy for the exact amount and payment methods.

Submit Your Application

Submit your completed visa application along with all the necessary documents to the nearest Bangladesh High Commission or Embassy in your home country.

Interview (if required)

In some cases, you may be asked to attend an interview as part of the visa application process. Be prepared to answer questions about your study plans in Bangladesh.

Wait for Processing

Visa processing times can vary, so be sure to apply well in advance of your intended travel date.

Collect Your Visa

Once your visa is approved, you will be notified to collect it from the Bangladesh High Commission or Embassy.

With your student visa in hand, you can now make travel arrangements to Bangladesh. Make sure to carry all necessary documents with you when you travel.
