Overview

This specialised programme paves the way for a career in the media industry through three pathways which are film and television, journalism as well as marketing and communications. With an in-depth understanding of the field’s fast-changing dynamics, our students become trailblazers with impressive achievements. They have have set up their own digital media companies, are working with some of the largest public relations companies in the world and write for leading newspapers.

English Language Requirements

You are required to fulfil the International English Language requirements for the programme. Alternative options to fulfil these requirements include Basic English (BE) and/or English Foundation (EF) courses provided by the university.

Waiver of BE and EF shall be considered should the following conditions be fulfilled:

  • Completion of A Levels, International Baccalaureate, GED, HSC (English curriculum); or
  • Completion of Dakhil/SSC and Alim/HSC with A- (GPA of 3.5) and above in English; or
  • Any academic equivalent which uses the English Language as a medium of instruction (reviewed case by case).
