Academic Requirements

HSC/ Alim

GPA of 2.5/5.0, inclusive of 2.5 in Mathematics and a science subject at SSC/ Dakhil

​A-Level

Minimum 2 principals (D), inclusive of Credits (C) in Mathematics and a science subject at O-Level

​General Educational Development (GED) Test

Minimum score of 145/200 for every subject.
Inclusive of Credits (C) in Mathematics and a Science subject at O-Level or Year-10 equivalence.

Other qualifications deemed equivalent to HSC/ Alim

Minimum overall average of 60%
Inclusive of Credits (C) in Mathematics and a Science subject at Year-10 equivalence.

Diploma

Minimum CGPA of 2.0

English Language Requirements

You are required to fulfil the International English Language requirements for the programme. Alternative options to fulfil these requirements include Basic English (BE) and/or English Foundation (EF) courses provided by the university.

Waiver of BE and EF shall be considered should the following conditions be fulfilled:

  • Completion of A Levels, International Baccalaureate, GED, HSC (English curriculum); or
  • Completion of Dakhil/SSC and Alim/HSC with A- (GPA of 3.5) and above in English; or
  • Any academic equivalent which uses the English Language as a medium of instruction (reviewed case by case).
