Major Suman Subhan (Retd)

Major Suman Subhan (Retd.) graduated from the University of Chittagong and completed his military training at the Bangladesh Military Academy. He retired in February 2024 after a distinguished career spanning 33 years.

During his service in the Bangladesh Army, he held several key responsibilities. His international experience includes serving with the UN Peacekeeping Forces—first as part of a military contingent in Sierra Leone, and later as a Military Observer in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Currently, he serves as the Provost at the UCSI University Bangladesh Branch Campus. A security analyst and regular columnist for Dhaka Stream, he is also the author of 17 books spanning novels, short stories, non-fiction works, and poetry.
